Why Did Odumodublvck Unfollow Jeriq? Blaqbonez Connection Explained
Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck is facing questions from fans after social media users claimed that he unfollowed fellow rapper Jeriq on Instagram and X because of Jeriq's association with Blaqbonez.
The discussion gained attention on November 6, 2026, after posts circulated on X alleging that Odumodublvck had stopped following Jeriq following a gesture of friendship between Jeriq and Blaqbonez.
The development has drawn reactions because Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez have been involved in a highly publicised dispute, while Jeriq has previously collaborated with Odumodublvck.
However, neither rapper has publicly confirmed that the reported unfollow happened because of Blaqbonez. The explanation currently circulating online remains speculation.
Why Is Odumodublvck Trending Over Jeriq?
Odumodublvck began trending after users on X claimed that he had unfollowed Jeriq on both Instagram and X.
The posts connected the alleged social media move to Jeriq's recent interaction with Blaqbonez.
One widely circulated explanation suggested that Jeriq had been caught in the middle of the ongoing disagreement between Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez after showing support for Blaqbonez.
Other users criticised Odumodublvck, arguing that Jeriq should be able to maintain friendships with other artists without becoming involved in another person's disagreement.
The conversation quickly developed into a debate about loyalty, friendship and whether artists should be expected to take sides in conflicts involving their colleagues.
What Did Jeriq Do That Involved Blaqbonez?
The immediate trigger being discussed online is a gift from Jeriq to Blaqbonez.
On November 4, Blaqbonez posted on X that Jeriq had brought him an iced-out Iyoo Cartel chain.
The post attracted attention because of the existing tension between Blaqbonez and Odumodublvck.
Some social media users interpreted Jeriq's gesture as a public show of support for Blaqbonez. Others argued that giving another rapper a gift should not automatically be treated as taking sides in a personal disagreement.
The discussion intensified when claims emerged that Odumodublvck had unfollowed Jeriq.
Are Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez Still Beefing?
Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez have been involved in a public dispute that has extended beyond music.
The two rappers were previously friends and collaborators, but their relationship deteriorated following disagreements that developed into public exchanges and serious allegations.
In August 2026, Blaqbonez discussed the origin of their disagreement in an interview with Rufai Oseni on the Nevon HQ podcast.
He said the dispute involved a woman with whom both artists had been involved, although he said he did not initially know about the overlapping relationship.
Odumodublvck later maintained his position and said the disagreement would continue through the legal process.
In October, Odumodublvck also spoke about the dispute during an appearance on the In Motion Podcast, saying he believed the truth would prevail.
The dispute has therefore remained a major subject of discussion among Nigerian hip-hop fans.
Why Is Jeriq Being Dragged Into the Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez Feud?
Jeriq's position has attracted attention because he has musical history with both artists.
He previously collaborated with Odumodublvck on the song "Life I Chose", which brought the two rappers together on a track.
His recent interaction with Blaqbonez has consequently led some fans to question whether he is being forced to choose between two artists with whom he has connections.
Some users believe Jeriq should be free to associate with both rappers independently of their disagreement.
Others argue that the gesture could be interpreted differently because of the history between Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez.
There is currently no confirmed public statement from Jeriq explaining his position in the controversy.
Did Odumodublvck Really Unfollow Jeriq on Instagram and X?
Social media users are circulating claims that Odumodublvck unfollowed Jeriq on Instagram and X.
However, the posts circulating online do not independently establish when the alleged unfollow occurred or confirm the reason behind it.
Neither Odumodublvck nor Jeriq had publicly explained the situation in the reports available at the time of writing.
It is therefore important to distinguish the reported social media activity from the interpretation that it was punishment for Jeriq's association with Blaqbonez.
A change in someone's following list does not, by itself, establish the reason for a personal disagreement.
What Are Fans Saying About the Alleged Unfollow?
The claims have generated different reactions on X.
Some users criticised Odumodublvck, describing the alleged decision as unnecessary and arguing that Jeriq should not have to inherit another artist's enemies.
Others joked about the situation, while some questioned why Jeriq's friendship with Blaqbonez should become an issue.
The debate has also revived conversations about the wider Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez feud and its impact on relationships within Nigerian hip-hop.
For now, much of the discussion is driven by fans interpreting social media activity rather than confirmed statements from the artists involved.
